Hyderabad, May 25 -- Telangana Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Monday launched a sharp attack on BRS Working President K T Rama Rao over the implementation of the 'Indiramma' housing scheme and challenged the BRS to face the public on housing promises.
In a post on X, Ponguleti alleged that KTR had "no moral right" to utter the name of 'Indiramma' and accused the previous BRS government of failing to fulfil its promises on double-bedroom housing.
The Minister claimed that within the first two-and-a-half years of coming to power, the Congress government had taken up the construction of 4.5 lakh 'Indiramma' houses across Telangana.
