Puducherry, April 1 -- The Puducherry unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has expelled five functionaires, including a Legislator who was a Former Minister, from the primary membership of the party for acting in a manner that caused disrepute to the party and for violating the party directives.
Party State President V P Ramalingam, in a statement here said sitting MLA and former Minister Sai Saravana Kumar, N Saravanan, State Vice-President B Ramu, State Secretary K Prakash, Convener Unorganized sector wing and Dr.Vigneswaran, Deputy Convener of the Medical wing of the party are expelled from the primary membership of the party.
They were also removed and from all the posts and responsibilities held by them.
