Kolkata, Sept. 25 -- The West Bengal State Election Commission on Friday said it was working towards holding elections in seven civic bodies, including Kolkata and Howrah, in the last week of November.
After a crucial meeting with the authorities concerned, State Election Commissioner Krishna Gupta said, "The State Election Commission is working towards holding polls at seven civic bodies, including Kolkata and Howrah, between November 28 and 29 and the counting would be taken up on December 2." The proposed dates are not yet the formal poll schedule.
