New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- The Supreme Court was told on Wednesday that the political executive headed by the Chief Minister should have confidence in officers holding key positions such as the Chief Secretary, Home Secretary and Director General of Police, but such political confidence could not translate into politicisation of the appointment process.
