Chennai, July 4 -- The Greater Chennai City police on Saturday tightened its nooose by summoning DMK strongman and former minister V Senthilbalaji and his brother RV Ashok Kumar, directing them to appear for questioning on July 6 for allegedly trying to poach an MLA with a Rs 35 crore bribe offer to topple the ruling TVK headed by Chief Minister Vijay and also issued look out notices against them to prevent them from fleeing the country.

After serving the summons at Senthibalaji's residence at Rameswarapatti village in his native Karur district, which was received by his father, police issued the Look Out circular to prevent them from escaping out of the country as they were absconding.
