New Delhi, Sept. 22 -- A day after the alleged gangrape of a 17-year-old girl near a park in Delhi's Kalkaji Mandir area, police arrested three accused who had posed as cops and threatened the victim and her friend, officials said on Tuesday.
Accused Asif, who was injured following a brief exchange of fire with police, was allegedly among the three who posed as policemen and took the girl away at gunpoint to a secluded part of the Astha Kunj Park on Monday evening.
The other two accused -Hemant, a lawyer, and his brother Mukesh, a final year BSc Mathematics student, both natives of Faridabad, were also apprehended. Both were residing in Sri Niwaspuri in Delhi, police said.
