Kakinada, July 10 -- : A police inspector in Kakinada earned praise for his prompt humanitarian response after rescuing a young woman found in a critical condition on the roadside and ensuring she received timely medical treatment.
Two Town Police Station Inspector Majji Appala Naidu, who was on night patrol duty, rushed to the spot along with his staff after receiving information that a 20-year-old woman was lying in distress near Subbaiah Hotel in Gandhinagar and was struggling to breathe.
As an ambulance was not immediately available, the inspector shifted the woman in his official police vehicle to Apollo Hospital and admitted her to the emergency ward without delay.
Doctors said the timely intervention helped save the woman's life. ...
