Gurugram, Oct. 3 -- Police have arrested three men in Gurugram for allegedly possessing illegal firearms and conducting reconnaissance for an extortion attempt at the direction of their associates, police said on Saturday.
The police official said preliminary investigation indicated that the accused were also allegedly planning to carry out an incident in Delhi with the intention of creating fear. The precise nature of the alleged plan was not disclosed.
The accused have been identified as Abhay alias Maulad (20) of Khera Jhajhrola village in Gurugram, Jatin alias Jony (29) of Sonipat, and Sagar, also a resident of Khera Jhajhrola.
