Kolkata, June 15 -- Numerous receipts for gold purchases were discovered during a search of arrested Trinamool Congress leader and former Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation Chairman Sabyasachi Dutta's flats here on Monday.
The large number of gold purchase receipts and several important documents were recovered from the flats at Rajarhat and Newtown in the city's north east fringes.
Dutta, arrested on June 8 in an extortion case, was during the day taken by personnel from Bidhannagar North Police Station to the flats located within a luxury residential complex.
