New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- The Delhi Police have registered a case at the Mukherjee Nagar Police station following a complaint by a girl student of a college in the North Campus over alleged eve- teasing near the Hakikat Park, a police official said on Thursday.
According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday night at around 9.30 pm, when two female students of a college in the North Campus were going somewhere, and four young men arrived in a car, one of them identified as a student of Delhi University.
According to the complainant, the group used abusive language and misbehaved with them.
Taking cognizance of the matter, based on the statement given by the victim, the initial probe was done, and legal action has been initiated.
