New Delhi, April 9 -- Delhi Police on Thursday submitted an 877-page charge sheet in connection with the Janakpuri pit death case, naming three individuals as accused, an official said.

The charge sheet outlines alleged lapses in how the construction project was carried out, an official said.

Reports said the charge sheet was filed in court on Tuesday, while the police noted that the case had been registered earlier on February 6.

According to the police statement, those named as accused include Himanshu Gupta (45), a suspended director of the main contractor, KKSPUN Private Limited; Rajesh Kumar (47), a subcontractor linked to the project; and Yogesh (23), a worker posted at the site.
