Srinagar, May 16 -- Police on Saturday attached the immovable property of a proclaimed offender in Sopore sub-district of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a militancy-related case, as part of an ongoing crackdown on the terror ecosystem in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.
Police said the action was taken in connection with an FIR registered in 2008 at Police Station Panzalla under Sections 2/3 of the E&IMCO Act, adding that it was the third such property attachment carried out in the last three days against terror handlers and absconders linked to militant outfits.
Police said the property of proclaimed offender identified as Rasid-ud-Din Qureshi of Nadihal Rafiabad was attached on Saturday.
