Srinagar, May 14 -- Police on Thursday attached an immovable property belonging to an accused involved in terror-related activities in north Kashmir, who is currently operating as a terror handler from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Police said the attached property comprises 10 marlas of land worth nearly Rs 20 lakh, located in the Kehnusa area of Bandipora district. The action was taken in connection with a case registered in 2023 at Police Station Sopore under Sections 13, 18, 18-B, 20, 23, 38, and 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, along with Sections 7/25 of the Arms Act and 4/5 of the Explosive Substances Act.
The accused has been identified as Majid Ahmad Sofi alias Bisati, a resident of New Colony Sopore.
