Srinagar, May 15 -- Police in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore sub district on Friday attached immovable properties belonging to a proclaimed offender linked with the banned outfit Hizbul Mujahideen, officials said.
The proclaimed offender identified as Ghulam Mohammad Bhat alias Hyder of Rohama Rafiabad is involved in 2008 FIR registered at Police Station Panzalla under Section 2/3 of the E&IMCO Act.
Police said investigations have revealed that the accused had illegally crossed over to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir for obtaining illegal arms and ammunition training and is linked with the banned terrorist organisation Hizbul Mujahideen.
He is presently operating in coordination with the Hizbul Mujahideen terror network from Pakistan, they said.
