Kolkata, June 20 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled three railway projects worth approximately Rs 590 crores for West Bengal from a public meeting at Tarakeswar in Hooghly district to observe 'Paschimbanga Divas' on Saturday.

The projects include a crucial rail link between Santragachi and Sankrail under the Kharagpur Division. The scheme worth Rs 421 crores and dedicated to the nation by Modi, serves as an important route in easing pressure on one of the busiest rail corridors in Eastern India.
