New Delhi, April 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday emphasized the urgent need for the peaceful resolution of conflicts in West Asia and Ukraine. He made the remarks after talks with Austria's Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker here.
"Today, the entire world is passing through a very serious and tense situation," Modi said, adding that the impact of global tensions is being felt by all nations.
The Prime Minister stressed that India and Austria are united in their belief that solutions cannot be found through military conflict. "We support stable, sustainable, and lasting peace in Ukraine and West Asia," he said.
