Shimla, May 14 -- : Principal Adviser (Media) to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Naresh Chauhan on Thursday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should clearly explain the country's economic condition to the public, alleging that recent appeals to conserve fuel, reduce foreign travel and avoid excessive gold purchases indicate the possibility of an economic crisis.
Chauhan said the Prime Minister's remarks regarding Himachal Pradesh's economy and payment of salaries to state employees were not based on facts.
He asserted that the state's financial condition was steadily improving and there was no difficulty in disbursing salaries to employees.
