New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called for India to broaden its participation across Olympic disciplines and begin preparing athletes immediately for the 2036 Olympics, saying the country's sporting vision extended beyond winning medals and was part of a larger mission to harness the strength of sports and youth in building a Viksit Bharat.
Addressing the Khelo India Dialogue through video conferencing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with young people from across the country as part of a nationwide discussion on sports, youth leadership, fitness, civic responsibility and nation-building.
