Bhubaneswar, July 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate seven redeveloped railway stations in Odisha on Friday under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS), marking another milestone in the modernization of railway infrastructure in the state.
The stations-Balangir, Barpali, Paralakhemundi, Talcher, Kesinga, Baripada and Bimalagarh-have been transformed with modern passenger amenities while retaining Odisha's rich cultural and architectural identity.
As part of the nationwide programme, the Prime Minister will dedicate 75 redeveloped railway stations across the country. The seven Odisha stations have been redeveloped at a total cost of about Rs.109 crore, East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources said.
