Kolkata, April 7 -- With the West Bengal Assembly Election 2026 heating up ahead of Poila Boishakh- the first day of the year according to the Bengali calendar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to intensify the Bharatiya Janata Party's campaign with a series of high-voltage rallies across the state.

According to BJP sources, the Prime Minister is likely to address as many as three public meetings in a single day as part of an extensive campaign schedule.

After kickstarting his election outreach with a rally in Cooch Behar last Sunday, Modi is expected to hold at least 14 rallies across West Bengal during the election period.
