New Delhi, July 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday indicated that the union Cabinet is set to approve tougher measures to combat examination paper leaks, as the government faces mounting political pressure over the controversy surrounding alleged irregularities in competitive examinations and continuing student protests across the country.

In a late night brief post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said, "More strict actions against paper leaks to come in tomorrow's Cabinet!"The announcement comes amid an escalating political confrontation between the government and the Opposition over the alleged NEET paper leak and the handling of student protests.
