Itanagar, July 30 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a meeting with Members of Parliament from Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland to review the flood situation in the two Northeastern states and assured continued support from the Centre in addressing the challenges posed by the ongoing monsoon.
During the meeting in New Delhi, the Prime Minister discussed the impact of the floods and landslides, the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts, and the need for close coordination between the Centre and the affected states.
He reaffirmed that the Central Government would continue working closely with the respective state governments to address the situation and ensure timely assistance.
