New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- India on Monday reaffirmed its commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at securing lasting peace and stability in West Asia as Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Bishkek.

The meeting focused on the longstanding India-Iran relationship as well as the rapidly evolving situation in West Asia, with the two leaders exchanging views on regional developments and discussing ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
