New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a high-level bilateral meeting with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever at Hyderabad House in New Delhi, with the two leaders discussing ways to further strengthen India-Belgium relations across strategic, defence, security and economic spheres.

The meeting marked De Wever's first official state visit to India since assuming office in February 2025 and the first visit by a Belgiam Prime Minister to India in nearly two decades at the invitation of an Indian Prime Minister.
