Varanasi, Sept. 6 -- The Municipal Corporation is working diligently to conserve and restore the city's ancient water sources, ponds, tanks, and wells.
As part of the conservation of water sources, the ancient ponds are being purified and cleaned, along with beautification.
Considering the safety and convenience of the public, it has been decided to install lighting, CCTV cameras, and an open gym for health.
City Commissioner Himanshu Nagpal conducted a site inspection of Pischachmochan Kund, Pitarkunda Pond, and Ramkund Pond on Sunday.
