Thrissur, Aug. 22 -- Opposition Leader in the Kerala Assembly Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Malayala Manorama daily over the investigation into the CMRL-Exalogic financial transactions, strongly denying allegations of hawala dealings involving him or his family.
Addressing a press conference in Thrissur, Vijayan questioned the basis of reports alleging that money received by his daughter Veena T. was transferred to the account of her husband, former Kerala Minister P.A. Mohammed Riyas, and subsequently used for hawala transactions.
