Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, Sept. 11 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday called for greater economic resilience among BRICS countries, warning against the use of financial instruments, technology and economic pressure as tools of political coercion, in an apparent reference to US sanctions and the recent military conflict involving Iran.
Addressing the BRICS Business Forum here, Pezeshkian said the global economy was passing through one of its most complex periods, marked by geopolitical uncertainty, supply-chain disruptions and the increasing use of economic instruments to exert political pressure.
