Patna, June 15 -- Bihar Rural Development Minister Shrawan Kumar said on Monday that the public hearing programme organised at the office of Janata Dal (United) has emerged as an effective mechanism for addressing the grievances of common people.

Participating in the public hearing programme along with Rural Works Minister Sunil Kumar, he listened carefully to complaints brought by people from various districts of the state and directed officials to ensure lawful and prompt resolution of several cases.
