Shimla, May 4 -- Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Monday celebrated the BJP's victory in the assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry, terming it a reflection of people's faith in the party's leadership and policies.

Thakur joined BJP party leaders, office-bearers and workers at the historic Seri Manch in Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, where celebrations were held with distribution of sweets and enthusiastic participation of party supporters.

Workers were seen dancing and raising slogans to mark the occasion.

Addressing mediapersons, Thakur said the BJP had secured a decisive mandate in three states, reflecting the party's sustained efforts and strong connect with the people.
