Hyderabad, June 3 -- Jana Sena Party President and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday asserted that his support for Telangana statehood was rooted in conviction and not political expediency.
In a post on social media platform X, Pawan Kalyan said his commitment to Telangana was not recent and recalled his participation in the "Telangana Samajika Nyaya Sabha" in 2009 alongside Osmania University student leaders and balladeer Gaddar during his tenure as leader of the Yuva Rajyam wing of the Praja Rajyam Party.
