Hyderabad, June 2 -- Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, demanding that he apologise to the people of Telangana for his remarks on the state and its movement.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Ponnam said Telangana belongs to its four crore people and asserted that no one should speak with a sense of "hegemony" over the state. He alleged that Pawan Kalyan had insulted the Telangana movement in the past and questioned whether he had ever supported Telangana martyrs or the statehood struggle.
