Vijayawada, June 6 -- Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan on Friday launched a programme to produce 2.50 crore seed balls at Kondapalli, near here, to mark World Environment Day.
Joining with the residents of Mulapadu village, he too tried his hand at making seed balls. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that production of seed balls is an initiative aimed at environmental conservation.
"From today until June 15, we will carry out seed ball production as a people's movement across all districts, with the cooperation of the public.
