Kangra, Oct. 10 -- BJP MLA and state vice-president Pawan Kajal on Saturday urged youth to stay away from drugs and called upon Panchayati Raj representatives to join hands with the police and administration to combat drug abuse.
Addressing a programme organised under the Mera Yuva Bharat and Seva Sankalp Abhiyan of the union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in Kangra, Kajal said public awareness and collective efforts were essential to protect the younger generation from addiction.
The programme was presided over by Kajal, while Mera Yuva Bharat Deputy Director (EAS) Dhruv Dogra attended as a special guest.
