Patna, June 16 -- The principal district and session judge Rupesh Dev today sought the case diary and criminal antecedents of two security personnel of educator Faizal Khan, popularly known as 'Khan Sir', while hearing their regular bail petitions in a case related to alleged attempt to murder and illegal use of firearms.
The court heard arguments on behalf of security guards Pradeep Kumar and Talebar Singh. Their counsel argued that both accused were innocent and requested their release on regular bail.
The prosecution opposed the bail applications.
After hearing both sides, the court fixed June 20, as the next date of hearing and directed the police to submit the case diary and details of the accused persons' criminal history.
