Dharamshala, Aug. 7 -- The Pathankot-Mandi National Highway will remain closed for three hours on the morning of August 8 between Kholi and 53 Mile in Kangra district to facilitate the safe removal of an accident-hit truck, officials said on Friday.
According to official sources, the stretch will remain closed to all vehicular traffic from 5:00 am to 8:00 am following orders issued by Kangra District Magistrate Hemraj Bairwa in the interest of public safety and smooth traffic management.
During the closure, heavy vehicles travelling from Palampur towards Kangra and Pathankot will be diverted via the Thanpuri-Tanda Road. Other vehicles heading towards Kangra and Pathankot have been advised to use the Kachhiyari-Tanda Road or other alternat...
