Dharamshala, July 31 -- Shahpur MLA and Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania inspected the landslide-hit Sudhed area in Shahpur Assembly constituency on Friday and directed officials to expedite restoration and relief measures following heavy rains.
Pathania visited the affected area early Friday morning.
During the visit, he inspected damaged link roads and houses located in vulnerable zones and interacted with affected families to assess the extent of the damage and hear their grievances.
The MLA instructed officials of the concerned departments to undertake immediate repair of damaged approach roads, accelerate restoration work, and ensure adequate safety measures in areas prone to further landslides.
