Thiruvananthapuram, May 21 -- In connection with the parole granted to the accused in the Periya twin murder case in Kasaragod, Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has directed the Home Department Additional Chief Secretary Bishwanath Sinha to urgently examine the matter and submit a detailed report without delay.
The Home Minister has instructed that a comprehensive inquiry be conducted into all aspects related to the granting of parole to the accused in the case.
He has further ordered that the report be submitted at the earliest, following which further action will be taken based on the findings and facts revealed in the report.
