New Delhi, Aug. 11 -- Parliament on Tuesday cleared the Tribunals Reforms Bill, 2026, with the Rajya Sabha passing the legislation by voice vote amid protests by Opposition members, a day after the Lok Sabha approved it without discussion amid a din.
The passage of the Bill completes Parliament's consideration of legislation aimed at overhauling the administrative framework governing tribunals and establishing a centralised mechanism for their functioning.
Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal moved the Bill in the Rajya Sabha for consideration of the House and then for passage.
