Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Oct. 10 -- After Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke was detained in Delhi, his parents accused the Centre and the state government of suppressing democratic freedoms and targeting peaceful protesters.

Police personnel were deployed outside Dipke's residence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar following his detention in Delhi, while his family expressed anguish over the action.

Speaking to reporters, Dipke's mother said her son is fighting for the future of underprivileged children and educated youth rather than for personal gain.

"Whatever Abhijeet is doing on the streets is not for his personal gain. He is fighting for the future of poor children and educated youth across this country," she said.
