Lucknow, May 7 -- In a significant step towards broadening opportunities for para athletes, a structured Para Shooting program will commence on Friday at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences(SGPGIMS).
The Classification & Technical Officials Course would be conducted from May 8-10, 2026 at SGPGIMS, Lucknow.
The course is being organized in collaboration with SGPGIMS and experts from Paralympic Committee of India (PCI).
This course will strive to achieve two objectives, namely1) Providing athletes with clarity on classification systems, sport categories, and pathways in Para Shooting.
