Palampur, July 30 -- Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Shanta Kumar hailed Parliament's approval of a stringent anti-paper leak law, describing it as a historic measure that would effectively curb the menace of examination paper leaks.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Shanta Kumar said that after a prolonged struggle against paper leaks and corruption in the examination system, two significant developments had taken place. The first was the passage of a tough law by the Lok Sabha to prevent paper leaks.
The BJP leader thanked all opposition parties for supporting the legislation, saying the law would decisively deal with the serious crime of paper leaks and help restore the credibility of competitive examinations.
