Panchkula, July 3 -- The Centre has initiated the land acquisition for the ambitious Panipat-Gorakhpur High-Speed Access-Controlled Corridor, paving the way for a major road infrastructure project expected to transform connectivity between Haryana and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a notification under Section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956, declaring its intention to acquire land required for the construction and maintenance of the corridor.
The proposed acquisition covers stretches between Km 1.50 and Km 18.98, Km 24.40 and Km 29.52, Km 31.90 and Km 54.06, and Km 54.15 and Km 54.65 in the Muzaffarnagar district as part of the Panipat-Gorakhpur (Shamli-Kheri, Phase-I) High-Speed Acces...
