Hyderabad, July 22 -- The Telangana Movement Activists Recognition Committee on Wednesday assured representatives of temple priests and tribal priests that their welfare demands, including an increase in the Dhupa-Deepa-Naivedyam (DDN) allowance, would be placed before the state government.
At an interaction held at the Martyrs' Memorial (Amaradeepam), committee members Prof M Kodandaram, Mothe Shobhan Reddy and S Ramulu Naik received representations from priests who had participated in the Telangana statehood movement.
