Panchkula, Sept. 23 -- Panchkula shooter Raiza Dhillon won a bronze medal in the women's skeet team event at the Asian Games, with her mother crediting years of gruelling practice, discipline and family support for the achievement.
The Indian trio of Dhillon, Maheshwari Chauhan and Parinaaz Dhaliwal finished with an aggregate score of 331 to claim the bronze medal.
Dhillon also came close to an individual medal but finished fourth, missing the podium by one bird.
Her mother, Gul Dhillon, said Raiza had put in years of sustained training to reach the international level, spending five to six hours practising in the sun before evening fitness training.
