Panchkula, Oct. 29 -- Panchkula police will intensify patrolling around schools and colleges and launch special anti-drug operations in Pinjore, Kalka and areas bordering Himachal Pradesh following directions from the district administration on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma directed police to act promptly on complaints of suspected drug trafficking and substance use received on the helpline 7087081100 and identify those involved in supplying drugs.
The directions were issued at a meeting of the district-level NCORD committee at the Mini Secretariat, where officials reviewed measures to prevent substance use and disrupt drug supplies.
