Panchkula, Oct. 20 -- As many as 625 police personnel, supervised by four Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs), will be deployed across Panchkula for Dussehra celebrations, with traffic restrictions around the Sector 5 Shalimar Ground from 2 pm to 8 pm, police said on Monday.
Seven special checkpoints have been set up around Shalimar Ground, while additional personnel will be stationed at entry and exit points, hotels, bus stands and other crowded locations to ensure security during the festivities.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Aditi Singh inspected the Dussehra Ground on Monday and reviewed security and traffic arrangements.
