Panchkula, Sept. 4 -- Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma on Thursday ordered prompt action on complaints concerning public safety, sewage blockages and encroachment, directing officials to inspect the affected sites and submit reports without delay, during a Solution Camp held at the Mini Secretariat.
Taking cognisance of a complaint regarding an alleged assault on the sarpanch of village Chikan, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police to investigate the matter and submit a report at the earliest.
The DC also addressed complaints from residents of Budhanpur regarding repeated sewer blockages and broken sewer covers.
