Panchkula, Aug. 29 -- Panchkula Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Satpal Sharma on Saturday urged eligible young voters to submit the prescribed form by August 30, to get themselves enrolled as voters, emphasising that public participation is crucial for preparing an error-free electoral roll.
Sharma said SIR-2 is an important exercise for strengthening democracy and its objective is to prepare an accurate and error-free voters' list. Awareness and cooperation of residents will play a key role in achieving this, he said.
