Palwal, Oct. 20 -- The Palwal district police will recruit 14 Special Police Officers (SPOs) on a one-year contractual basis, while a separate operation led to the arrest of a man for allegedly possessing an illegal country-made pistol, an official said on Tuesday.
The recruitment, being conducted under Section 21 of the Haryana Police Act, 2007, is open to eligible male and female ex-servicemen from the Indian Army, retired paramilitary personnel and former members of the Haryana State Industrial Security Force (HSISF).
Candidates aged between 25 and 50 years can submit their applications by 5 p.m. on October 31, with interviews scheduled to begin on November 1, the official said.
