New Delhi, Sept. 4 -- Pakistan's troubled England tour took another controversial turn after reports claimed that players dropped from the squad with one Test still remaining were asked to stay back to attend a meeting with King Charles.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made sweeping changes following two heavy defeats, dropping seven players and sacking senior coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul ahead of the third Test. The upheaval also prompted selector and former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq to resign after reportedly not being consulted.
